  • Hey Dolls,

Since April is over how crazy is that, I can not believe that I am nearly finished with University for good and summer is just around the corner! I decided to do a post about my favourite products of this month that I have been using non stop. I have a good mixture of skincare, hair care and make up items to share with you ladies.

I’ll begin with the skincare , for some odd reason my skin has turned a little dry this month so I have turned to using some more hydrating products to help combat that, I noticed I was getting dry skin around my eye area and tried out the simple skin cleansing lotion to remove my eye make up which has been working wonders and has helped with my dry skin for sure. On my skin I am still loving and using my Lorea’l micellar water on which I have done a full review of before click here to read that post.  Eye care wise I have been using this origins plantscription treatment which I am loving at the moment, its a quiet thick consistency so I use this at night as I find it very hydrating.

Moving to make up , I have rediscovered my YSL Teint resist which I for some reason put aside for a while but I came across this whilst sorting out my make up collection and fell back in love with this, it’s such a beautiful foundation , it’s one not caky and leaves you with the most beautiful natural finish, it’s not full coverage as such however it has an amazing lasting power.  Next is my Maybelline Fit me powder ,  I bought the dark shade so that it works as a bronzer and I think it looks great , the colour is gorgeous and not shimmery , works perfect as a bronzer for my skin tone.

For the application of my foundation I have been obsessed with mu real techniques flat top brush it leaves you with a super flawless and polishes kin and the brushes feel so soft against the skin, I have also been loving using the real techniques small tapered brush for contouring and highlighting, the small yet precise brush size makes it super easy, the brush is also great at applying blusher so I will be purchasing one more to add to more collection very soon.

As I mentioned earlier on my skin has gone dryer so I have been loving my benefit fake up concealer which has been working great as it has a moisturising ring around the concealer. I have review the concealer a few weeks ago so click here if you would like to read more about it.

Lip product wise  have been loving the new products I received from my make up swap the NYX Matte Lip cream and the Maybelline Baby Lips which I will do full reviews of very soon.

Last but not least is my hair saviour this month which I have done a post on a few days ago click here if you would like to read more about this and my No7 Illuminated mirror with an inbuilt light which I have been loving , I love the fact it has two sides one of which is magnified.

    What are your April Favourites?

    * Some of the products mentioned above are PR samples however that does not change or affect my opinion about the product at all, all my opinions are honest.

Great favourties, I love the buffing brush from Real Techniques and the pointed foundation brush is great for blending in concealer under the eyes. The YSL foundation sounds really nice. xx

I've been wearing my Maybelline Baby Lips non stop lately. My lips are too dry for lipstick. Lovely picks x
